Reading is the foundation that undergirds all knowledge.  Reading cannot be overlooked or underserved because of it being a means of everyday survival. Being able to read signs that speak of Danger/ Entry-Exit / Information / Food Choices / Medical Needs is all based on the ability to read and understand words.

We begin with the basics of learning words, saying words and giving the meaning of words. We branch off into forming words into sentences / paragraphs and then reading books. Our reading lessons focus on building early reading skills and improving reading comprehension. They include phonics worksheets, early reading exercises (sentences, paragraphs), children's stories  focusing on specific comprehension topics (main idea, sequencing, etc.). Our children's stories all include their own comprehension exercises.
